Most of the time celebrities seem totally untouchable, so it’s always nice to see when two people who we admire open their hearts to each other as BFFs—even if it does make us kinda jealous. Here are the three duos that we most wish we could join in on.

Tina Fey and Amy Poehler
These two hilarious women go way back! Long before their amazing three year stint hosting the Golden Globes, even long before working together on Saturday Night Live, a young Tina Fey and a young Amy Poehler meet and become lifelong friends in a Chicago improvisation group. These two would offer an unending amount of wisdom to any friendship and would obviously keep you laughing. If you need any more proof of how good these two are at being friends, check out each of their memoirs (Bossypants and Yes Please, respectively) where they each had some lovely things to say about the other. I can’t wait to see them on screen together in the upcoming film Sisters (they play the titular sisters), so I can fantasize about being a part of this amazing friendship.

Taylor Swift and Lorde
Probably two of the most popular young women in music right now, these two are a pair to be reckoned with. They became friends after Taylor Swift sent Lorde some flowers to her house with a sweet note congratulating her on her newfound success (who wouldn’t want to be friends with her after that?) and quickly set the internet ablaze with their friendship outings. They continually prove how supportive and loyal they are to each other by calling out the media on creating fake feuds between them and constantly proclaiming their sisterly bond. They’re not afraid to stand up for each other, even if it means they cause a stir—as Lorde showed when she very publicly stood up for Taylor after music producer Diplo made some rude comments about Taylor’s body. That kind of loyalty is what every friendship should strive for.

Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza
Together, these two provide the internet with enough sarcasm to last a lifetime. The Twitter conversations between Anna Kendrick and Aubrey Plaza are an absolute treasure—in fact, that seems to be how people found out about this friendship, with Aubrey requesting a naughty nude from Anna over Twitter. And it gets even better if you follow them on Instagram; their pictures from a trip to Mexico last year are a hilarious glimpse into what it would be like to be a part of their crew. They’re constantly joking with each other, but there’s an undercurrent of true affection and love in everything they say. In any conversation where they talk about one another, it’s evident that they really get each other in a way that we all strive to understand our BFFs—and that’s what makes this friendship so special.
